Kirsten Johnson's Favs

Hey all! I'm going to kick off the "My Favs" thing- send me yours too, and I'll try to post one "profile" a week.

Seriously, send me yours. Don't make this weird.

Email me your list, and anything else at kirstendana@gmail.com

My Favs:
Favorite Genre: Right now, I'd say YA, with a little bit of fantasy.
Favorite Author: (Living): Neil Gaiman and John Green are tied.
                            (Dead): Ray Bradbury
My Favorite Books "In Order" (this is subject to change at any time):
     1. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
     2. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
     3. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
     4. The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
     5. The Secret Garden by Francis Hodgson Burnett
     6. Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
     7. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
     8. The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
     9. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
     10. The Help by Kathryn Stockett

There are a million more favorites, but this is my list as of right now. Harry Potter, Divergent, and The Hunger Games aren't listed because I love the series more than one specific book in the series.

I included the picture partially because it's funny and partially because if you look in green on my right shoulder, one of my students wrote "book buddy", which makes me smile.

Anyways- Happy Reading!

What an awesome post Kirsten! Love the 'favs' idea! I plan to be at book club this month & will be buying epitaph on my kindle (insert boos & hisses from peanut gallery here) :) Will send you my list once I have time to make a list (hopefully very soon) I am cleaning out my bookshelf, what do you gals think of a small book exchange at our next meeting? I'm planning to bring a few of my favorites to share with you all.

I always vote yes for an exchange, but that's my two cents. Thanks for the reply and enthusiasm- I can't wait to see your favs list! If everyone's up for it, I have a few books I'd put in the exchange pile too. Anyone else?

I would like to enthusiastically reply as well!!! I LOVE your list Kirsten. And there are definitely a few on your list that I need to read. Thanks for starting us off. I'm pretty sure people will not submit theirs unless you give them some kind of deadline (that's how I work anyway.) But I love the idea! I have no books to contribute to your exchange, but I'll take some of yours off your hands. haha.
